Detailed information about the itinerary
ILike Indonesia Routes
In general, ILike's schedule is as follows:
- From June till September, ILike operates in Komodo: most trips are a combination of Komodo NP (amazing reefs, Manta Alley, and not to forget: the famous Komodo Dragon) and Sangean island (a volcanic island that last erupted in 2015: top class critter diving)
- From November till March, ILike operates in Raja Ampat: diving in the area with the highest biodiversity in the world, huge schools of fish, and amazing macro.
- Between the operation in both top class destinations, ILike schedules trips to remote areas like Maluku, Banda Sea, forgotten islands and Triton Bay. If you think you have seen it all, you better try this!
Diving Conditions
Any time of the year, Indonesia offers good diving. Visibility may vary from season to season but 10 to 30 meters (35 to 100 ft.) can be expected at most dive sites.
Water temperatures can vary greatly from a low of 22C to a high of 29C. A 3-5mm wetsuit with hood is recommended year round. All diving is from tenders. Guests are also suggested to bring reef hooks for use at some dive spots.
Komodo
There is an abundance of fish on these underwater pinnacles, schooling surgeons, big eye jacks, snapper or barracudas and pelagic are a common site. The diversity of sites is unbelievable here in Komodo. From underwater pinnacles to sloping sandy bottoms with manta cleaning stations to driving along a beautiful coral reef. Currents with extra nutrients also bring bigger pelagic fish, like the majestic manta rays or Mola Mola. Your trip is not complete without a meeting with the last living dinosaurs, the Komodo Dragons.

East Flores
Maumere is a sleepy Indonesian fishing port that teems with cryptic odd-balls including frogfishes, Ambon Scorpionfishes, leaf-fishes, mercurial schools of venomous catfishes, mandarin fishes, seahorses, giant pen shells in black coral hedges under the town pier, bunches of purple tunicates, harlequin shrimps and so on. This is an awesome place for you to film cool critters.

Forgotten Islands
The Banda Sea is spectacular as it is very remote due to its location and possibility of rougher seas. Crystal clear waters, bottomless drop-offs, colorful coral pinnacles and so much more. Nil Desperandum, for example, is underwater seamounts rising from the depths to about 3 meters below the surface. Besides the unspoiled coral encounters with the bigger pelagic tuna, rainbow runners, Spanish mackerel and hammerheads are common. Manuk is an active volcano with many seabirds and sea snakes. Hundreds of sea snakes will accompany you on this dive while you enjoy the lava ridges covered in coral. Keep your eyes open for big pelagic.

Ambon
Ambon is just too good to miss. It has some world class muck dive sites right in the bay. Here we can find such critters as a harlequin shrimp or hairy frogfish, rhinopia, flamboyant cuttlefish, seahorses, mototi, hairy, starry wonderpus are just a few of the many different species of octopuses you can find here.

Triton Bay
Beautiful soft coral gardens, to lush black coral forests, steep walls to sloping coral bommies and underwater pinnacles. Because of the huge plankton blooms in Triton Bay, it attracts some gentle giants. There have been regular sightings of the whale sharks around the bagans of the fishermen. Soft corals also get the benefit of the excess of plankton growing to massive sizes. This is an area that still has so many places to explore and discover, we would love to take you on his spectacular adventure.

Raja Ampat
Raja Ampat translated from the Indonesian language it means Four Kings. it refers to an archipelago with more than 1500 islands with the four main islands of Waigeo, Batanta, Salawati, and Misool and is part of the Coral Triangle making it one of the richest biodiversity of the world.
The Dampier Strait is where we can find even more nutrients bringing in bigger predators like giant trevallies, yellowfin tuna, rainbow runners and even some sharks like blacktip, grey reef, white tip sharks. It is also one of the few places in the world where we can find two species of Manta rays on the same dive sites.
Night dives are a joy in Raja Ampat.
