ITINERARY INFORMATION

Detailed information about the itinerary

Similan-Bon-Tachai-Richelieu Rock-Phi Phi-Koh Haa-Hin Daeng Hin Muang

MV Gentle Giant offers a distinctive diving itinerary that sets it apart, with only six trips available each year. While many divers are familiar with the famous Similan Islands in the North Andaman Sea, fewer are aware of the exceptional dive sites in the South Andaman Sea, such as Koh Haa and Hin Daeng Hin Muang. These sites have gained popularity among divers in recent years, offering the chance to spot giant pelagics like whale sharks and manta rays. The coral reefs and marine life in this region remain healthy, thanks to fewer boats visiting these areas.

Most liveaboard operators focus on trips to the Similan Islands, with only a few offering excursions to either the Similans or Hin Daeng Hin Muang. This is often due to the additional fuel costs required to cover the distance between the northern and southern Andaman Sea. However, MV Gentle Giant provides a unique experience by combining both regions into one comprehensive trip. This 7-day, 6-night journey includes 22 dives at renowned sites such as Similan, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock, Phi Phi, Koh Haa, Hin Daeng Hin Muang, and the King Cruiser Wreck, offering divers an unparalleled adventure across the Andaman Sea.
